Social Welfare and Development Secretary Esperanza I. Cabral talks to elderly evacuees during her recent visit to Albay in the Bicol Region.    Secretary Cabral went to Albay to oversee the situation of evacuees and monitor the on-going disaster relief operations for Mt. Mayon eruption in the province.

She visited four evacuation centers namely: Cabangan Elementary School in Camalig, Agencia Española de Cooperacion Internacional para el Desarollo (AECID) Evacuation Center in Guinobatan, Daraga North Elementary School and Bagumbayan Elementary School. Secretary Cabral committed to provide tents which will serve as temporary classrooms for displaced students.
