To officially start the week-long celebration of the 5th anniversary of the institutionalization of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Undersecretary for National Household Targeting System (NHTS) and 4Ps Vilma Cabrera lead the ribbon cutting of the program’s photo exhibit at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City on Tuesday (June 25).

The photo gallery exhibit, dubbed as “Pantawid Pamilya Memory Lane: Limang Mukha ng Pantawid Pamilya” showcased the program’s evolution—its triumphs and challenges—alongside the success stories of beneficiaries.

Institutionalized in 2019 through Republic Act No. 11310, the 4Ps is the national poverty reduction strategy and human capital investment program that provides conditional cash transfer to poor households, for a maximum period of seven years, to improve the health, nutrition, and education aspects of their children.

Joining the Secretary during the kickoff activity were Asst. Secretary for NHTS and 4Ps Marites Maristela, 4Ps National Program Manager Gemma Gabuya, 4Ps-NPMO Director III and Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for Data Management Systems Monica Shayne Ann G. Purugganan, Officer-in-Charge – Deputy Program Manager (OIC-DPM) for Program Services and Interventions Rosalie D. Dagulo, and DPM for Administration under the 4Ps NPMO Jonathan C. Anteza. #
