As part of the celebration of the 13th year of facilitating livelihood opportunities to poor, vulnerable, and marginalized Filipino families, the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sets up booths featuring products of SLP Associations (SLPAs) in “Sibol Bazaar’ from June 26 to 28 at the Central Office in Quezon City.

Activities such as Sibol Quiz and SLP Trese Mega Raffle were also held for the agency employees.

From 2011 to May 2024, more than 3.4 million household-beneficiaries have benefitted from the SLP. Over 2.3 million SLP receipients are Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries.

The SLP is a community-based capacity-building program adopting the community-driven enterprise development approach, which equips household participants in actively contributing to production and labor markets by looking at available resources and accessible markets. #
