The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is again celebrating the latest success story under its flagship poverty-alleviation program, this time a former Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program’s (4Ps) child- beneficiary from Albay province bagging the fourth spot among the top passers of the October 2024 Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination (GELE).
Aaron Paul Millena Lolor, a resident of Barangay Villahermosa in Daraga, Albay, garnered a rating of 86.60% from the recently-concluded GELE, according to the Facebook post of the DSWD Field Office 5 – Bicol Region on Tuesday (October 29).
“Ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) sa Rehiyon 5 ay taos-pusong bumabati kay Aaron Paul Millena Lolor, isang benepisyaryo ng 4Ps mula sa Brgy. Villahermosa, Daraga, Albay, na nagtapos sa Bicol University-Legazpi, sa pagkakapasa bilang Top 4 sa Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination ngayong Oktubre 2024, na may rating na 86.60%,” the DSWD FO-5 post read.
Aaron was among the 650 out of the 1,343 examinees who passed the GELE administered by the Board of Geodetic Engineering in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga last October 17-18.
The now-licensed engineer closely follows the feat of Sheena Mae Obispo, who is also a former 4Ps monitored child from Albay. Sheena also recently topped the Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE) held last September.
Since the DSWD started monitoring 4Ps children, the agency has produced more than 36,000 former child-beneficiaries who have successfully passed various examinations with 53 of them clinching the top spots.
Launched in 2008 and institutionalized by Republic Act No. 11310 in 2019, the 4Ps is the national poverty reduction strategy and human capital investment program that provides conditional cash transfer to poor households for a maximum period of seven years to improve their children’s health, nutrition and education. #

Mula ng umpisahan ng DSWD ang monitoring sa mga 4Ps children, nakapagtala na ito ng mahigit sa 36,000 former child-beneficiaries na pumasa sa iba’t-ibang board examination sa bansa, kung saan 53 sa mga ito ang nanguna at napasama sa Top10.
