Two senior officials of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) discussed the updates on the Department’s latest initiatives during the agency’s Thursday Media Forum on January 23 at the Central Office’s New Press Center in Quezon City.

Director Gemma Gabuya, National Program Manager of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), briefed the reporters on the implementation of the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) of Life conditional cash grant for household-beneficiaries with pregnant and nursing women and those with children aged 0 to 2 years old.

For his part, Special Assistant to the Secretary (SAS) for Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) and Concurrent Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau (NRLMB) Leo Quintilla shared to the members of the Media the upcoming turnover of the agency’s mobile kitchen next month.

The Thursday Media Forum, which is held weekly at the DSWD Central Office’s New Press Center, is hosted by Special Assistant to the Secretary (SAS) for Communications Raymond Robert Burgos and Digital Media Service (DMS) Director Dianne Joie Ruiz.
