Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Corazon Juliano-Soliman denies having signed and authorized the release of a letter expressing her gratitude to Marikina Mayor Del De Guzman for his support to Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino program.

The letter was addressed to beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilya in Marikina City.

“While the letter emphasized that it condemns politicians who are taking advantage of the program, it also subliminally endorses a local politician. I am not endorsing any local politician,” Sec. Soliman said.

Sec. Soliman urged Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries to continue to be vigilant and not to be deceived and influenced by such seemingly acts of goodwill but are actually manipulation of information, especially  that election is just two days away.
