The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) commended the 26 engineers and architects of the Central Office (CO) and Field Offices (FOs) following the approval of their accreditation in the Constructor’s Performance Evaluation System (CPES) last December 18, 2023.

The CPES accreditation is overseen by the Philippine Domestic Construction Board (PDCB) – Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP), which is responsible for establishing a consistent set of criteria in assessing the performance of constructors, and guarantees that infrastructure projects adhere to the specifications outlined by project owners.

DSWD Asst. Secretary for Strategic Communications Romel Lopez said the CPES accreditation was necessary to capacitate and equip the Department’s technical personnel on building and grounds management on the facilities and construction activities in line with the objectives of the CPES.

“Through this accreditation, we are making certain that there are capable personnel who will look into the on-going construction of infrastructure projects of the DSWD. They will ensure that the projects are compliant with the standards set by the government,” Asst. Sec. Lopez, who is also the DSWD spokesperson, said.

The accredited technical personnel were: Engr. Adimar P. Abaya; Engr. Enerly Zenn B. Abustan; Engr. Prince Jude O. Bomediano; Engr. Kevin Gerard C. Canopin; Engr. Mirriam M. Catigbac; Engr. Cleenton P. Coronel; Engr. Maridal M. Dagan; Engr. Emmanuel M. Edles; Engr. Roleiste C. Falsis; Engr. Franc Anthony C. Galao; Engr. Edmin Alpon A. Intong; Engr. Joseph Carlo R. Lanceta; Engr. Vinnes V. Lastimado; Engr. Wilfredo G. Male, Jr.; Engr. Van Jaeghrex Y. Monoy; Engr. Nazar Q. Soledad; Engr. Eugene Louie C. Taming; Engr. Mark Anthony G. Ton-ogan; Engr. Ricky C. Verzosa; Engr. Christian J. Ybañez; Ar. Ryan S. Basabe; Ar. Michelle L. Capulong; Ar. Elmer I. Dapitan, Jr.; Ar. Benedict Loyola; and, Ar. Glyxter N. Rudio; Ar. Mher Anthony C. Santos.

The 26 accredited engineers and architect are now part of the roster of CPES evaluators nationwide with their accreditation valid for three years.
