Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) executives met with Qatar officials led by Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) H.E Ibrahim Abdulla Al-Dehaimi and Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the State of Qatar to the Philippines H.E Ahmed Al Homidi on Tuesday (December 10) to discuss possible areas of collaboration.

During the meeting, Undersecretary for Policy and Plans Group (PPG) Adonis Sulit, Undersecretary for Legislative Liaison and Coordination Group (LLCG) Fatima Aliah Dimaporo, and Disaster Response Management Bureau (DRMB) Director Michael Cristopher Mathay briefed the Qatar delegates on the various programs and services of the DSWD such as  the disaster management initiatives as well as the interventions for the Muslim communities in the country.

At the end of the meeting, the Qatar executives presented the DSWD with a plaque as a token of appreciation for the fruitful discussion. (LSJ)
