The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) recognized volunteers and partners who contributed to the swift provision of relief aid to families affected by disasters and calamities.

The DSWD’s National Response and Logistics Management Bureau (NRLMB) led on Friday (December 20) the event titled “Hiraya: The 5th Volunteers and Partners’ Recognition Day” at the SM City Sucat in Parañaque City.

Present to confer the recognition to partners were Undersecretary for Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) Diana Rose Cajipe and Special Assistant to the Secretary (SAS) for DRMG Leo Quintilla, who is also concurrently Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the NRLMB.

Receiving their Certificates of Recognition from the DSWD officials were representatives from Ronald McDonald House of Charities of the Philippines, United Nations World Food Programme (UN WFP), PhilSeven Foundation Inc., the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Philippine Army (PA), Member Church of God International (MCGI), Globe Telecom, National University MOA, St. Francis of Assisi College, Manila Adventist and Barangays 192, 193, 195, 197, and 198 in Pasay City. #
