Social workers of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office -11 (Davao Region) assess on Wednesday (February 7) the families affected by the landslide in Barangay Masara, in Maco Town, Davao de Oro last Feb. 6.

The Davao Region Field Office administered family access cards in emergencies and disasters (FACED) among the affected families. FACED serves as a family verification tool for accessing response and rehabilitation support interventions from the government and other stakeholders.

DSWD personnel also set up modular tents to provide temporary shelter to the affected population.

A total of 111 affected families, or some 356 individuals, are currently taking temporary shelter in three evacuation centers in the Nuevo Iloco Elementary School, Nueva Visayas Elementary School, and Andili National High School. #
